So Hope has been on this kick about Bumble bee's for a while everything yellow she See's is Bumble bee yellow. Its even got so bad that We were talking about the New house that is Yellow (she refers to as the bumble bee house) that I told her that we were painting the house a sage green color. Hope looked at me in complete shock and started crying. When I asked her what the problem was she said " your painting my bumble bee house". What was I to do except tell the little one "yep cuz mama don't want it yellow".
But today at the table while eating breakfast she tells me Mama I'm not princess Cinderella anymore I'm a bumble bee. OK what am I to say to that at least she's using her imagination. oh and she has already told me that she wants to be a bumble bee for Halloween again not a princess.
So I guess that I have 2 boys 1 girl and a bumble bee for kids.
Well, she could always dress up as Belle, since she has a yellow dress, and be a bumble bee princess type thing for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteHeck, go all out on a bumble bee costume. She'll remember it forever. When Audrey went through her Strawberry Shortcake phase (which is sadly now coming to an end), I poured some money into that awesome costume that you commented on and she wore it for three years. I guarantee that she's never going to forget that costume. I'll be looking forward to bumble bee pics come October :)
Hope has been going through the house today buzzing its actually quite funny. She was also a bee last year for halloween and she grew out of her costume. So I'm going to have to make another one I might have to make her one before halloween for her to wear Think that I might have my mom make the straberry one for faith it is the cutest probley due to the fact I was into starberry short cake when I was little
